Downloads or Upgrades
Starting from Version 3.42, the full Piper install package is built as a MSI (Microsoft Installer) file. This provides everything you need, sets up a program group item and a desktop icon, and includes some sample .ppr files.
If you have the latest MSI framework on your machine you can
download PiperSetup.msi (approx. 1.2MB).
If that doesn't work for you, cheer up because you don't actually need the Piper install package. You can simply download and run
Piper.exe
from any folder.
For quicker downloads, you might prefer
the zipped version
of Piper.exe .
For integrated Help, optionally download and save the
piper.chm Help File into the same folder.
If you get error messages about missing DLL's, download and unzip the following Microsoft files into the folder that contains Piper.exe .
mfc70.dll and msvcr70.dll.
