Login Page
Before accessing ADmira via corporate WiFi, users need to authenticate themselves. This login is the same credential users use to login to their desktops/PCs.
User Profile
Similar to the desktop version, the user profile screen on mobiles also contain 3 key components - user photos, user summary and group membership.
While iPhone does not support photo uploads from the mobile device, users can upload their photos via ADmira Desktop or an Android. Simply tap on the edit (
) icon and select the photo to upload.
To view all uploaded photos for a user, tap on the photo to rotate through them.
The content of the User Summary section is customisable and aims to display user's full name, account name, title description and contact details.
The Description and Office are hyperlinked to trigger queries.
For example, tapping on 'Software Consultant' will display all software consultants in the organisation.
Phone numbers and email addresses are hyperlinked to make phone calls, compose SMS and email as illustrated in the screen shots below.
The user membership section illustrates both direct and indirect groups to which users belong in a collapsible and expandable tree view. Each group is a link that when tapped will display its group profile (see below).
Group Profile
Again, similar to the desktop version, the group profile screen on mobiles contain 4 sections - group member photos, group summary, sub-group of and group members.
The group profile screen will display up to 15 photos of its group members. To view all member photos, tap on the photos to rotate through them.
Users can customise the fields displayed in the Group Summary section via the Admin screen on the Desktop version. The 'sub-group of' section displays the parents of this group, that is, groups that this group is a member of.
The group members section displays all users and groups that are a member of this group. Again, member is hyperlinked to direct users to the corresponding user or group profile.
Search Feature
To search for AD users and groups, simply type the key words into the search box (see left), and tap Search. ADmira will return all AD users and groups with names (that is, samAccountName) beginning with the query string specified. When a search returns only one match, ADmira will redirect to profile screen for that record. When multiple matches are found, ADmira will list all matches on the screen. For example, searching for "Adm" (or "adm", the search is case in-sensitive) will show the screen below.
ADmira will list all AD users and groups with name beginning with "adm". For each result, it will also indicate whether the match is an AD user or group. Tap on the ink will take you to the profile screen of the selected result.
Everyone
This returns a list of all users from AD with each hyperlinked to the user profile screen.
Every Group
This returns a list of all groups from AD with each hyperlinked to the group profile screen.
